''There are three nadis (subtle energy channels) in the body:
the sun or the sushumna, the moon or the ida,
the star or the pingala. The first is red in color,
the second, blue, and the third, green.
Where these three nadis meet, is the heart-space.
As we go on practicing yoga, the bindu-sound is heard in the head.''
This sound is one, indivisible....
...

what is called the heart-space is the face which is triangular.

The ''Mysterious Pass'' is where thought doesn't arise.
- The Taoist Book of Balance and Harmony

Tradition states that God willed to see God and so God’s Will,
symbolized by light, shone nowhere and everywhere....
From God knowing All, God willed the first separation
so that God might behold God.
This ... was accomplished by a contraction in Absolute All,
so as to make a place wherein the mirror of Existence might manifest.

The place that was vacated was finite in that
it was limited in relation to the Absolute All that held it.
This act of contraction, or Zimzum,..
brought about the void of Unmanifest Existence
even though it was ... the size of a dimensionless dot
in the midst of the Absolute.

Shimon Halevi, A Kabbalistic Universe
This vital center (seat of Brahma) is considered
as corresponding analogically
with
the smaller ventricle (guha) of the heart (hrdya),

but it must not be confused with the heart
in the ordinary sense of the word,

that is to say, with the physiological organ bearing that name,
since it is in reality not only the center of corporeal individuality,
but of the integral individuality capable of
indefinite extension in its own sphere...

...it is this that the geometric point is quantitatively nil
and does not occupy any space, though it is the principle by which
space in its entirety is produced,
since space is but the development of its intrinsic virtualities.
...
that which in fact dwells at the center of individuality
is not merely the etheric element (Akasa),

the principle of the four other sensible elements
as might be supposed by those

who confine themselves to its external meaning,
that relating to the corporeal world only.

In the latter world, this element does in fact
play the part of a principle
but in a wholly relative sense,
inasmuch this world is eminently relative

and it is precisely this acceptation
which has to be analogically transposed...

thus the dweller in the vital center is
from the physical point of view, ether...
...from the psychic point of view, the living soul...
...and from the metaphysical point of view,
the principal and unconditioned Self...
- Rene Guenon, Man and his becoming according to Vedanta

BEFORE THE EMANATIONS WERE EMANATED
AND THE CREATURES WERE CREATED,
THE UPPER SIMPLE LIGHT HAD FILLED ENTIRE EXISTENCE,
AND THERE WAS NO EMPTY SPACE WHATSOEVER.
...
IN HIS SIMPLE AND SMOOTH WILL THE DESIRE AROSE
TO CREATE THE WORLD AND TO MANIFEST THE EMANATIONS,
TO BRING TO LIGHT THE PERFECTION OF HIS DEEDS
AND HIS NAMES AND HIS APPELLATIONS,
WHICH WAS THE CAUSE OF CREATION OF THE WORLD.…
IN HIS SIMPLE AND SMOOTH WILL THE DESIRE AROSE.

BEHOLD HE THEN RESTRICTED HIMSELF,
IN THE MIDDLE POINT WHICH IS IN HIM, PRECISELY IN THE MIDDLE,
HE RESTRICTED THE LIGHT. AND THE LIGHT WAS WITHDRAWN
TO THE SIDES AROUND THE MIDDLE POINT.
AND THERE HAVE REMAINED AN EMPTY SPACE,
ATMOSPHERE, AND A VACUUM SURROUNDING THE EXACT MIDDLE POINT.

AND BEHOLD AFTER THE RESTRICTION MENTIONED ABOVE,
IT DREW FROM THE ENDLESS LIGHT ONE LINE,
DIRECT FROM HIS CIRCULAR LIGHT FROM ABOVE DOWNWARDS,
AND IT GRADUALLY DESCENDED BY EVOLUTION
INTO THAT HOLLOW OR VACUUM.…
...AND IN THAT VACUUM HE EMANATED, CREATED,
FORMED AND MADE ALL THE COLLECTIVE WORLDS.
  -Rabbi Isaac Luria
"You can’t, if you can’t feel it, if it never
Rises from the soul, and sways
The heart of every single hearer,
With deepest power, in simple ways.
You’ll sit forever, gluing things together,
Cooking up a stew from other’s scraps,
Blowing on a miserable fire,
Made from your heap of dying ash.
Let apes and children praise your art,
If their admiration’s to your taste,
But you’ll never speak from heart to heart,
Unless it rises up from your heart’s space."
- Johann Wolfgang von Goethe, Faust
"The inner process of entering the Center Point of the soul
is like
threading the eye of the needle.
Jesus also referred to this as "entering the Kingdom of God."
It requires steadiness of attention and acute perception.
... in our discussion of soul anatomy,
the Centre Point of the soul is surrounded by
a small shell forming what mystics call
the "cave of the heart."
... Mystics down through the ages
have dived deeply into the soul and have made a common discovery.
The soul has a Center a sacred point of contact where
the human and the Divine meet in sublime communion....
Furthermore, mystics through the ages
have described God as a circle whose centre is everywhere
and whose circumference is nowhere.
If we think of ordinary human awareness
as the circumference of a circle then its center is a point....
Saint Francis de Sales referred to the Center
as the "fine point of the soul."

Father Louis Massignon of France called the spiritual Center of the soul
"Le point vierge"--the virgin point. ... Father Merton in turn
wrote of the little "'point' or virgin eye by which we know Him! (Christ).

Jesus reveals the existence of this Central Point
in His mustard seed parable. "
... He is referring to the smallest of all things--
the infinitesimally-small Center Point."

- John Francis, 1998

In the trunk of the body (of the Tree of Life), the heart space is tiferet,
the child of binah and hokmah. This is beauty and compassion.

- Malka Drucker, The Kabbalah of belief ''

The heart must make of itself a hollow space
wherein Godliness can be revealed in stages.
The verse thus states (Psalms 109:22), "My heart is hollow within me."
Thus the heart (binah) corresponds to the hollow of Creation,
the Vacated Space. Within the Vacated Space is placed Godliness,
but gradually, in stages. This is the meaning of (Exodus 31:6),
"In the hearts of the wise, I have placed wisdom."
For Godly Chokhmah is concealed within Binah,
which corresponds to the heart. Thus, even in the Vacated Space,
Godliness exists in concealed form.
Binah, then, is
conceptually the Vacated Space
wherein the formation of all the Universe takes place."
-
Chaim Kramer, Anatomy Of The Soul, 1998
"... space-time came into existence by being squeezed out of a point....
a space-time structure (is created) out of a single point!
With this interpretation of space-time, certain paradoxes of nonlocality
which require super-luminal speeds are no longer paradoxes.
The reason is that everything is always connected because
everything is really part of the same point."
